Magicians are very often met in works of fantasy, such as fantasy literature and role-playing games; they draw on a history of such people in mythology, legends, and folklore, but the kind of magicians we all know, are those seen on TV and in some shows that we watched at our friends’ parties. Being a magician is not an easy thing to do, first of all because he must be a very fine psychologist to get children of all ages. A good magician has many unrevealed tricks that make children happy. We will reveal one of the most appreciated tricks: the one that involves a coin.
Effect:
The magician presents a glass turned upside down and a coin, situated on colored paper. He puts a handkerchief over the glass and he moves it over the coin. He pulls the handkerchief and the coin will disappear.
What do we need?
A colored piece of paper, a transparent glass, a handkerchief and a coin.
Preparation:
Trace the glass form on the paper and cut the circle. Then stick it to the glass so that when you put it over a colored paper the two colors match.
Secret:
When you perform the act, put the glass on a piece of paper and move the glass covered with paper over the coin while the whole assemble is under the handkerchief so that the glass cover the coin. Pull the handkerchief. The coin has disappeared.
